Missy's Old Phone - Part 2

9/24 - At Swamp Yankee Days - $1 for unlimited inflatable obstacle course - hurry!!

Scaling the cargo net...

...and face planting on the other side!

10/8 - At a birthday party of a classmate - 1st crack at a pinata

Make it pay!

Morgan had never been a face-paint kid. He'd rejected it plenty of times before, but he finally did his 1st one at a birthday party the weekend before, so he dove right into here

Bwahahaha

Who are those masked men?

Missy's Old Phone - Part 1

Missy got a newer phone and in the process, she emptied pictures off of her old phone...the only thing wrong with this is, she's had that phone for awhile, yet the oldest pic that I got off of it was from Aug '11...who knows what pictures I/we have missed out on. :(

9/20 - Morgan in a swim lesson, on an underwater platform. I love it!

9/8 - Tossing some feed to ducks in the pond

9/8 - Getting closer with the ducks.

9/3 - Who's a party animal?

8/29 - Our local strong man, hauling some limbs.

8/29 - Enjoying a nice breakfast!

Summer Activity - Gymastics

Morgan took gymastics over the summer.

Here's some shots from the final session.

Starting off on the uneven bars...from here he flips up to the high bar, but I didn't get that on film.

Showing his agility, by weaving between the cones.

Doing some push-ups

Some work on the single bar...

Dribbling a ball down the balance beam to shoot a basket at the end.

Springing down the mat floor.

Bouncing down the long trampoline...

It was a fun summer activity! The fall activity - swimming!

Laying Some Logs

Here we are, getting ready to read stories before bed, while rallying the animals to settle down and listen.

Over the summer we had a neighborhood yard sale and one of our neighbors was selling a lincoln logs set. I never had a set, but Morgan got right into it and constructed the city below.

Stop by sometime and build with me!

Monster Jam

This post started out nice and simple, until I wasn't sure what one of the truck names was, so I pulled up the Monster Jam website to confirm it. Once I was there, I got what I was looking for and then some. They had a tab that said 'results', so I thought I'd confirm who won...then I saw a link for photos...at any of the trucks names below are professional photos from the event. I'm sure I'd have some nice looking photos too if I were on the other side of the fence...

Missy saw that Monster Jam was coming to Connecticut, so we picked up some tickets. It's come to Providence before, but it's an indoor show there and those things are LOUD. The flip side of that coin is...it was crazy hot in the sun at the outdoor show.

(In a tune of Rudolph) We've got Thrasher

and Eradicator...

Backdraft...

and another shot of Backdraft, because let's face it, this was the coolest truck at the show.

The US Air Force Afterburner

Grave Digger

Oh! Grave Digger goes down!!!

Maximum Destruction won the race portion of the event...zoooom!

Thanks for stopping by for this extremely "human deficient" picture post.

Playground + Snugglin'

Outside of the Circus was a playground. Morgan rocked this horse's world.

Lean into it.

On a later day, Morgan smooshed Mom into submission...

...so that he could have the couch spot for the gang to watch netflix on the wii.

Circus McGurkus

The circus came to town...so here we go!

Under the big top!

Our eager young one awaits

Elephant rides, elephant rides!

(Morgan was uninterested, just as well, they're probably stinky)

Cheese it up with Dad...

and Mom!

But don't take your eyes off of the tigers!!

With discipline like this, they can delay eating the trainer a little longer

Camels on stands

Yukking it up

Aw Yeah!

Here's your typical dog and pony show...

Finally, the elephants are making these stands earn their wage, by pressing into them with all their might.
