Fall in RI

It's officially Fall in RI. It rained for almost 3 days straight, the leaves are falling, and the temps are nice and cool. It's so great to snuggle under the covers in bed! Morgan still gets up around 5am, so, unfortunately we can't snuggle for too long.

Grandma and Grandpa Allen came out for a visit last week. It certainly was great to have some extra hands and eyes to follow Morgan around. He is quite the active boy and not much stops him. Plus, our "to do" list around the house is getting longer and longer, so finally, we got to cross some things off of that!

Morgan's 2nd B-day is coming up quick. I can't even believe it! He's such a good kid, though. We have glimpses of the "terrible 2's" but nothing too bad.

I guess to sum it up, we're pretty boring. Michael is busy at work, but he always is. I am getting just a little slow at work, and hopefully it's not because of the economy. But, we're happy, we're good.

What's new...

We're doing great here in RI. The weather, although cooler, is still beautiful. Morgan is doing fabulous. A little trouble with some seasonal allergies, but the runny nose is not slowin' him down! We went recently to NJ for Michael's family reunion. It was great to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Allen and Morgan's cousin Nolan (pic...Daddy, Grandpa Allen, Cousin Nolan, and Morgan). All the boys had fun at the playground right near the picnic.

Morgan also has grown to love his daycare! He goes 3 days a week and when we are there to pick him up, he runs over gives us a hug and runs away to play more. He just loves it!! The teachers there are so good with the kids! He has learned the whole "ABC" song, he can count to 10 (with a little help), along with a few classic kids songs. He remembers almost anything you say to him!!

Michael and I are also good. Just working. Michael turns 30 this weekend!! He can, finally, stop teasing me about being 30 while he's still "in his 20s".
