To The Moon!

Here's the rocket launcher in action!

(as you can tell these photos weren't taken yesterday,
since there's not an obscene amount of snow in the photo)

Ready!

Aim!

Fire 1!
Super high!

Fire 2!
...with the rocket streaking out of the top of the photo!

Today's Post Is Brought To You By The Number 4

Morgan's 4th birthday!

It was a pajama theme with decorate your own cupcake dessert.

We had Morgan decorate his cupcake ahead of time so that everyone could sing to him and he could blow the candle out.

Here you can see all the topping options. Morgan has used the ones on the right while the ones on the left are still available.

A few more used...there's so much topping on there that it's not even sticking to the frosting anymore and the plate is getting loaded up.

YEAH!!! FOUR!!

Waiting for the guests to arrive. We go through this every year. "When are my friends going to be here?" Over and over for at least 90 minutes.

The decorating is in full swing.

Opening the presents...we've got some Disney puzzles.

And a rocket launcher! (which is totally safe)

Snugglin' Wii Man

Mom was going out and Morgan wanted a quick shot with her before she hit the town.

After owning our wii for close to 2 years without Morgan having any idea, it's finally seeing some daylight. He like to play Cars racing games, but he has yet to master the sensitive steering.

End of FL

We went to downtown Disney and Morgan got kind of cranky, so we left him with Mickey and Minnie, he had no idea they'd been tabbed as his new guardians.

Understandably, he passed out in the car on the way home. I don't get many chances to nap, so I wasn't about to pass up this opportunity...I see a sore neck in my future.

AAHH! It's finally Halloween and this scary, teeth baring elephant is looking for candy!

Feed me!!

Well, it couldn't last forever, but hopefully 22 posts in 21 days provided some satisfaction.
I'll try to grab some time to parse out the next series and get them up soon.
Thanks for viewing.

Birthday for Blake

The trip to the grocery store was a dual mission, the kids were getting candy and the adults were getting dinner and dessert...for Blake's Birthday!!

Mason might have a future as an athletic trainer.
Here, he helps Blake warm up so that there aren't any miscues during the big moment.

Mom, Dad, Uncle Linus, Aunt Pat and the boys.

Me, Miss, Kenia, Tim and the boys.

A happy birthday boy, with Morgan focused on his cupcake and Mason eyeing his next score.

Hold on and snuggle up tight everyone, this is the 2nd last blog before another hiatus!!

Halloween in FL

Hard at work, Grandma Karen is whipping up Morgan's halloween costume request.

He's an elephant! It was pretty hot though and he would seldom put his trunk on his face, opting for the "mouse wearing a neck tie" look.

A couple of pirates captured the elephant. The elephant is in a state of shock, as is the pirate on the left, thinking "you said we weren't going to hurt him!"

The pirates let the elephant live and headed off to the grocery store to collect some treasure.

Also featured in the top left, headless versions of my Mother and Aunt Pat.

Cousin Kenia and I overseeing the pirates confiscation of some unattended treasure.

Pool Time!

The kids traded the forts of the house for the indoor pool.
All the comfort and warmth without the need for sunscreen!

While one noodle is fine, two noodles are preferred.

Plotting their next moves...

Cannonball!!

Motoring around on the water chariot.

The top of this shot also features the legs of Aunt Pat, my Father and Uncle Linus.

Cousins!!

Twas the day before Halloween and all thru the house not a creature was stirring, not even a Morgan. It was sure warm in Florida, so the minimal clothes policy was in effect because Morgan gets sweaty!

Introducing Blake and Mason Allen, Morgan's Florida cousin's, who he met for the first time. He warmed up to them right away and snuggled in.

Silly faces!

Someone (probably me) cooked up the idea for the kids to make forts in the living room, while the grown ups caught up with each other on the porch. Cousin Tim and I were constructing our best efforts.

The habitants emerge!
(I tried like crazy to get this picture rotated as it should be, but the blog and I had to agree to disagree.)

No more monkey's jumping on the couch!

Hey! What did I say?

Rolling with laughter and defiance...

Disney Part 4

Finally, Disney comes to a close.

The tram takes us back to the car.

And everyone is all smiles.

(And smooches)

In a race back to the car, a certain little boy was the fastest one there.

Until next year Disney!!

Disney Part 3

What's Morgan's favorite dish?

Mac N Cheese

Do they have it at Disney? YES!

I forget what the name of this show was but it's a 3D show (obviously), where you have wind blown on you, water sprayed at you, all sorts of interactive moments. Morgan did not want to wear his glasses, so we were trying to show the harmlessness of them. He's not yet amused.

Glasses off Grandpa! However, he did keep them on during the show because all of the other kids were wearing them as well. It's super fun watching a ton of kids trying to grab the 3D images that are 'right in front of them'.

Grabbing some shade during the Disney character parade

Get ready...sing it with me...It's a small world after all, It's a small, small world...
Here we go!

Haunting, I know. It's a long journey thru the small world ride.
We were seeking entertainment during a lull.

A family gathering for the Flag lowering ceremony at 5pm.
